Robert Alan Postma, age 78, of Hudsonville, passed into Glory on Friday, May 24, 2019, setting him free from dementia. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers. Bob was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa who loved his God, family, country, and cars. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Kay; children and grandchildren, David and Lisa (Stefanie and Travis, Holly), Robin and Allison (Brady), Matt and Jodi (Luke, Nate, Blake, and Jessie); sister-in-law, Helen Postma; several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at noon at Grace Bible Fellowship, 1260 Chicago Dr., Jenison, with Pastor Caleb Befus officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also on Wednesday from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Cambridge Manor and Spectrum Health Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Bob.
