Rita Killen

Rita Jane Killen passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Raymond Elliot Hill in 1980; an infant son, Delwin Kent Hill and her parents, Joseph Oscar and Dora (Mattheus) Bishop. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 26 years, Henry W. Killen and her children, Wendell Clark Hill, Tresia Jane (Kevin) Dubay, Jodi Charise Hill, and Dustin Ray Hill. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jared Scott Dubay and Zachary Chance Dubay and her brothers, Eddie (Glenda) Bishop and Gary (Sherry) Bishop. Rita was a housewife and a musician. She played piano and keyboard in county bands in the Houston area until 2005 when she was 63 years old. She played in the Texas Roadrunner Band and D.J. & the Country Boys with Rita and played in and around the Lubbock area thru the late 80's. She also played at the VFW weekly in Cleveland, TX.
