GARDNER- Rickey Lynn Gardner age 65, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Gardner; step-dad, Chester Scherer; in-laws, Robert and Jeanette Nelson. Surviving is his wife Su; children, Kristy Gardner, Hollie Williams, Stacey Carlson and Ryan DeYoung; grandchildren, Nolan and Bailey Anes, Abba Williams, Emilio and Christian Gardner, Tyler and Katie Carlson; mother, Esther Scherer; brothers, Scott (Sue) Gardner, Brad (Val) Gardner, Tim (Shawn) Gardner, Charles Gardner, Bob Scherer(Teresa); sisters, Chris and Judy Frank, Connie and Norm Vankampen; brothers-in-law, Steven Nelson (Sue), Bob Nelson (Denise). Rickey proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam (1968-1971). A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4125 - 18th St., Dorr, with visitation one hour prior to service at Church.
