Rick J. Norder, age 65, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his son; William J. Norder; parents, William and Betty Norder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernie and Ruth Schutter.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Linda Norder; children, Jennifer and John Grooters, Joel and Brandi Norder, John and Marie Norder; grandchildren, Tyler and Renee Grooters, Katie Grooters, Danielle Norder, Austin Norder, Issac Norder, Layla Norder, Serena Norder; great-grandchildren, Zeke and Arlo Grooters; brother, Gary and Linda Norder; sister, Linda and Chris Lentz; brother-in-law, Keith and Vonnie Schutter, sister-in-law, Gail and Paul Kapenga; brother-in-law, Robert and Gail Schutter; and many nieces and nephews. Rick enjoyed racing, hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Hudsonville Reformed Church, 3950 Highland Dr., Hudsonville, with Rev. Scott VanOostendorp officiating.  Interment will be held at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 10:30-11:50 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
