Richard William Burdick

Richard William Burdick, age 63 of Wyoming, formerly of Long Island, New York, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, Edward Burdick, his mother, Ruth Hilaski and brother, Gary Burdick. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Jenny Burdick and Brittny Burdick; and Bubba the Pug. Richard was an avid New York sports fan. He was a history buff, and enjoyed movies and classic cars. A memorial gathering will be held 4-6pm Friday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Private interment will be at Blain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Richard was a fantastic friend that I met about 2 years ago when I started working in the office at his apartment community. He was always in great sprits and I loved hearing all of his New York stories. He was a fantastic resident and a good friend and he will certainly be missed by our community. We wish the best to his family.
