My thoughts and prayers go out to Michele, Steven, and Rebecca. I used to work with Richard at CompuCraft and he was a wonderful man who loved and was so proud of his family. Steven and Rebecca were small when we worked together and he would show me their latest drawings or tell me about their latest antics. I can't imagine the heartache you feel and I hope you can be comforted by knowing he is in Heaven with our Savior. God Bless. Elena Pozza

I'm incredibly sorry to hear... I learned the news when I called the office monday, for more insight into our system needs at ODL. Richard has always been a friend, computer partner, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly person to know. He'll be greatly missed here. Michael Kowalczyk

Keeping the Olthoff family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I first met Richard when I was employed at ODL and he was our go-to Mac person. Over the years, he has helped me with my personal Mac purchases and offered me the same high level of customer service. But that was Richard—always going above and beyond. He was truly a genuine person. A good man. Sandra Harris

I only knew Richard for a short time. We met this spring as part of the Deals Gap Group. He was a pure joy to have on the trip this year and we looked forward to him joining us each year after. I spent about an hour with him last Friday at Fox's bike night. We talked about bikes some, but mostly family and our children. I love to ride, but it's because of people like Richard. The ones that wasn't to know you, not your bike. They value family and love more than anything. He beamed when he would talk about Rebecca or Steven. We had a lot in common when it came to our feelings about family. I wish I could say something magical to help all of you in this tragic time. Thank you for sharing your husband, father, brother, uncle and friend with us. We love him and will always cherish the time we had with him. -to Richard ♡ Bill Kremer

I knew Richard for close to 20 years, both as a co-worker and more recently as a customer. I even went golfing with him a couple of times. A better man you'll not find. My sincerest condolences to his family, whom I never met, but heard a lot about when visiting with him at work. Godspeed Richard. David Cooper

Losing someone you love is never easy. And we know that it is not the purpose of God for us. Jehovah God wants us to live happily in Paradise earth not in limited years but in an everlasting life. So like what He gave for Adam and Eve. Unexpectedly, they committed sin and that sin resulted to death. We, offspring of our forefather inherited the result-death. Rom 5:12 Still, our lovingly father gave us hope to restore His purpose. He sent His Son-Jesus Christ that whoever put faith in him will have everlasting life. How is that being possible? What about hope for our loved ones who have died? Try to visit the link for some information.
