Richard Ronald Brown

Richard Ronald Brown, age 80, passed away peacefully on  Tuesday, October 24, 2017 and was reunited with his wife, Marcia K. Looman Brown, his one and only true love.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth B. Brown and Lela M. Bayes Brown; brother, Kenneth “Bud” B. Brown, Jr., sister-in-law, Rose L. Bennett Brown. He is survived by his children, Scott (Ingrid) Brown of Jenison, Michelle Brown (Roger Shambaugh) of Corona Del Mar, CA, Lorrae (Chuck) Danzig of Jenison, who lovingly cared for him in their home for the past five years. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Matthew (Rachael) Danzig, Cameron Brown, Andrea Danzig, Aubrey (Dominick) Tonnarini; five great grandchildren, Callie, Isaac, Noralie, Harper and Sutton Danzig.  He is also survived by his beloved brothers, Dan Brown, Larry Brown; sister, Karen (Mike) Paxson all of Wyoming; Aunt  Betty Rosenberger Brown of Baldwin; sister-in-law, Loretta (Jim) Topping of Jenison; his best friend, Jim “Hoot” Clawson of Grandville.  The family wishes to thank Faith Hospice and the staff of Hauenstein 3, specifically, Laura and Maddy for the extraordinary care they provided to our dear dad.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Don Van Slyke officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
