Richard Robert Grigsby

Richard “Dick” Robert Grigsby, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born December 20, 1936 to Robert and Eleanore (Shippy) Grigsby. He was a man who loved to entertain with many stories and one-liners. His life was a journey filled with love of people and his experiences. Being very proud, he worked up until the day he died. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Christine Moore; sons, Scott and Tam, Mark and Bobbie, Gary; stepdaughters, Paula Rogers, Toni and Barry Bratton; stepson, Phil and Jodie Southland; grandchildren and great grandchildren; Aunt Barbara Stuk; niece, nephews and cousins. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering with refreshments to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Friday, March 15 from 3-5 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
