Richard “Rick” James Hulst Jr.

Richard “Rick” James Hulst Jr., age 61 of Dorr, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hulst Sr. He will be missed by his wife of 36 years, Jody Hulst; his children, Rachelle Hulst (fiancé Lance DeWitt), Richard III “RJ” Hulst (Hailey Riemersma); granddaughter, Rylee DeWitt; mother, Joann (Rog) Lanting; sisters and brother, Sandy VanBeek, Nancy (Todd) Hulst, Bob (Robin) Hulst; his aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Rick loved the outdoors and animals but especially enjoyed being with children. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14 at 1pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. The family will meet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
