Richard L. Rhonehouse, aged 76 of Kentwood, passed away peacefully at home in his favorite chair surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 22, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Rhonehouse; parents, John Rhonehouse and Eileen Rhonehouse Alexander; and brother, Robert Rhonehouse.  He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Fisher) Rhonehouse; son, Trent Rhonehouse; grandchildren, Jalyn Rhonehouse, Jada Kane; great-granddaughter, Amaya Rhonehouse; brothers, Ray (Jan) Rhonehouse, Ronald Rhonehouse; brother-in-law, Darrell Fisher Jr.; sister-in-law, Anna Merriman; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special family member, John (Cheryl) Knisley.  Funeral services for Richard will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo SE with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Inurnment at Blain Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Emmanuel Hospice.
