Richard Perez

Richard Perez, age 67, of Caledonia went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2019. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Minda; daughter, Elisabeth Perez; son, Preston Perez; brothers, Dave (Cheri) Perez, Roger Perez; sister, Linda (Bud) DeBoer; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St., Caledonia. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

My condolences to the Perez families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Richard. A few Bible scriptures that has helped me during times of loss is Isaiah 26:19 which says "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says at John 5:28, 29- "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to the ransom of Jesus Christ. Thus, we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.
