MONSALVO - Mr. Richard J. Monsalvo, aged 39 of Sand Lake, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ariel; grandparents, Natividad and Gladys Monsalvo; and his Great Aunt Toni. Surviving are his children, Angelica Monsalvo (JJ Vandenberg), Alexis Monsalvo, Amelia Monsalvo; mother and step-dad, Domingo and Nancy Feliciano; father, Carlos Ayala; godparents, Hector and Linda Sanchez; brothers, Raymond (Cristina) Feliciano, Daniel (Lorena) Feliciano; 2 half brothers, Santiago Perez, Carlos Perez; 2 half sisters, Mildred and Ana Feliciano, 3 very special nephews who he loved with all his heart, Danny, Nathaniel, "Lil" Ray Feliciano also Johnny and Mikey; two aunts, Linda and Debbie who shared the same birthday, three uncles, Nat Jr., Gilbert and John Monsalvo; special family members, Brenda and Ashley; and many more close family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at St. Joseph the Worker, 3138 Birchwood SW. The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to Mass at church.
