MEAD - Richard "Dick" Edwin Mead went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Merrill Mead; mother, Marion Jensen; sister, Kay Pickard. Dick is survived by his wife of 59 years, Darlene Mead; children, Joyce Mead, Beverly Mead, Edwin (Angela) Mead; grandchildren, Jackie (Gerald) Pittman, Courtney Mead, Sara Mead, Logan Mead; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Susan Alcock) Jensen, Gary Jensen; sisters, Joan DuBois, Jean LaPlante, Carol Shook, Sandy Moreno; several nieces and nephews; many friends from GracePointe Church. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2017 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE with his Pastor, David Solomon, officiating. The Mead family will greet relatives and friends Thursday 5 to 7 PM and Friday one hour before the service at the funeral chapel. Internment Rosedale Memorial Park.
