Family owned and operated for over 85 years.
On Monday December 12,2022, Richard “Dick” L Miller took his last breath on earth and his first breath in heaven. He was surrounded by all his children and four grandchildren singing Amazing Grace as he went to meet Jesus. We can assume he has already attempted to fix a car or climb a tree. Those who knew him, loved him.
Dick was a beloved husband to Bonnie Miller, nee Dougan for over 70 loving years. Together they had four children: Barry (Ann Glaz) Miller, Tom (Colleen) Miller, Michelle (Cary) Wohlin, nee Miller, and Dicksie (Bruce Malone) Tremlin, nee Miller. They also have nine grandchildren: Kelli (Sean) Carlson nee Wohlin, Joshua (Lisa) Miller, Linsey (Josh) Pierce nee Wohlin, Brooke (Bryce Limes) Miller, Alexandra (Chris) Mikrut, nee Tremlin, Andrew (Tonya) Miller, Kipp (Emilee) Tremlin, Hannah (Bryan) Baudry, nee Miller and Chance (Megan Reyes) Tremlin. He was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren: Alexis, Jonah, Sydney, Laney, Brody, Gabriel, Sophia, Willow, Crosby and Blakely. Together Dick and Bonnie built a beautiful life centered on Christ.
Many loved ones went before him including all nine of his siblings and his precious infant daughter, Amy.
Dick graduated from Creston High School in 1947 and was drafted into the Army in 1951 where he served in the Airborne Division. He married Bonnie in 1952. He worked for Consumers Energy for 34 years. Dick owned Miller Tree Service and continued to climb and trim trees well in to his 80’s. Dick had numerous hobbies including auto restoration, oil painting, and construction projects. Dick and Bonnie were members at Bella Vista Church for over 50 years. Dick served as a deacon and was known for his welcoming hugs. He enjoyed serving those in need on many mission trips all over the world. Dick was cherished by all who knew him and his gentle spirit. He was an inspiring example of living life for Jesus. He wanted to share his joy of the Lord with everyone.
