I enjoyed every conversation I had with Dick. Every conversation ended with a smile. RIP my friend. Condolences to his entire family.

I sang next to Dick for many years at Trinity UMC. He was tireless in his service to the church. He was generous in loaning books to my daughter while she was growing up in the church. I remember him telling a quiet joke to me and then chuckling to himself with his shoulders shaking a bit as he thought himself too funny! I enjoyed Dick because of his service and commitment to the church and its causes. I enjoyed his eccentricities like bringing a small battery powered personal fan into the choir loft on hot Sundays. I miss having Dick in the choir loft with us.
