Richard “Dick” Terry Fasburg

Richard “Dick” Terry Fasburg, age 77, of Grand Rapids passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son, David Fasburg. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Helen; daughter, Ruth Howe; sons, Jim Reamsma, Rick Reamsma; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; extended family and friends. Dick enjoyed being a positive influence in people's lives from volunteering with BMX bike racing to tending to his yard and home. He worked hard as a spot welder for 42 years. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Donald Van Slyke officiating. Inurnment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to your family. A scripture i find helpful is Isaiah 41:10 even though we may feel alone when we lose someone we love God reminds us that he is there with us ready to comfort us.We can appreciate that now and Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” By means of God’s kingdom that Jesus mentioned at Matthew 6:10 that is what we can look forward to in the future. Grandpa I love you so much I keep looking out my window to see if your walking up the hill to my house or out in the yard I'm extremely sad your gone but I know your not in pain no more I will always love you and will miss u see you on the other side
