Richard “Dick” A. Temple, age 83, of Jenison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Ruth; children, Rick and Lisa Temple, Cindy and Jim Johnson; stepchildren, Tom and Julie Hilzey, Laurie and Steve Humphrey, Michael and Marcie Hilzey; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Merlin Temple; half brother, John Malinowski; half sister, Linda and Arnold “Sonny” Alsvig; sisters-in-law, Mary and Dick Burgess, Nancy Kelley; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, at 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor James Durr officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 and on Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service.
