Richard Dennis Sundstrom, age 68, of Grand Rapids passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Violet Sundstrom; one brother and one sister. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Maxine; children, James Miller, and Crystal Lei Miller; grandchildren, Baylee Miller and Josh Hacker, Derrick and Selena Miller, Jerwarn Middleton; great-grandson, Devion Miller; daughter-in-law, Toni Miller; siblings, Nan and Joe Ciechanowski, Jim and Joyce Sundstrom;  countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dennis proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He was a talented drywall installer, a huge Detroit Lions fan, and an even bigger fan of anything Superman. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, May 30, 2025 from 5-8 pm at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.
