Richard Daniel Neuman

Richard Daniel Neuman, age 90, of Caledonia, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Richard was born in Ludington and was raised in Manistee where he met his wife, Donna. He honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean war. Richard graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in electrical engineering. He helped form Mid-America Engineering and Manufacturing in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to travel. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, his cooking and love for his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Jospehine Neuman; brother, Robert Neuman and sister, Nancy Wrzesinski. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Donna; children, Lonnie Neuman, Diane (Mark) Erickson, Dr. Richard (Pat) Neuman, Julie (Steve) Shafley; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Joseph Wrzesinski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Monday, May 23 at Holy Family Church, 9669 Kraft SE, Caledonia. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family for visitation from 10-10:45 am with a rosary service to begin at 10:45 at church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or the Kids Food Basket.
