Richard Charles Myers

Myers, Richard Charles Richard Charles Myers, age 83, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by his family.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Myers and his brother, Bob Myers.  He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Myers; his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Deb and Bill Schoonveld (Steve, Cindy and Scott Pontier [Isaac, Jonah]), Judy and Steve Penning (Kristin and James Van Hall [Gabi], Stacey and Brian Grissom, Jeff and Mindy Penning), Doug and Glenda Myers (Nathan, Mathew), Benjamin and Melissa Myers; mother-in-law, Florence DeBoer; brother, Jim and Nicole Myers; a few nieces and nephews; and many friends.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday 2 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Dan Averill officiating.  Inurnment at Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Kent Philatelic Society or Beverly Reformed Church.
