BAUMGARDNER - Mr. Richard "Rick" F. Baumgardner aged 59 passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Floyd" and Lois Baumgardner; brothers, Carl "Butch", Warren "Bud", Mac, David "Dave". Surviving are his wife of almost 38 years, Bonnie; children, Dana, Corey (Kate) and Chelsea Baumgardner; grandchildren, Kylee, Taylor, Lauryn and Mason; brother, James "Jim" (Barb) Cole; sisters, Bonnie Jones, Mary Kay (Rick) Hamilton, Elizabeth "Ann" (Ron) Whitney and Virginia "Gin" (Mike) Evans; many nieces and nephews. Rick was involved with many causes including LuvnPupz, Ms. Wheelchair Michigan, Hurricane Katrina, Dègagè Ministries and the founder of Friends of Deb Parker. A celebration of Rick's life will be held 1PM Monday, August 15, 2016 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 4150 Kalamazoo Ave. SE. His family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service at Church on Monday.
