Richard “Andy” Jorgenson, Jr.

Richard "Andy" Jorgenson Jr. passed away on September 12th, 2019 at the age of sixty-six.

He was a proud father to Sommer and Kirk Jorgenson. Andy was preceded in death by his Father- Richard Andrew Jorgenson Sr, older brother Doug, and mother Ellen. He is survived by his loving siblings, Barbara (Jorgenson) Meyer, Dale and his partner Linda, Dean and his wife Terry. He left behind aunts and uncles and was an uncle to Brian, Lisa, Dana, Jessica, Paige and Brianna. The family would like to warmly thank any and all caregivers, friends and neighbors who helped him along the way. The family would also like to recognize our dearest friend Jim Hall and thank him years of knowledge, fun, and road trips. Andy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1952. He was a listener and lover of Oldies and Motown. He spent over thirty years with his good friends at Steelcase. His hobbies included collecting coins, playing guitar and he loved watching movies. He could always be found near big crowds and live-music and he'd go anywhere that had beaches and palm trees. Later in life, he enjoyed watching birds and critters that visited him on his deck. His lifetime was spent making people smile and laugh. As per his request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
