My condolences to you, Jessica, and your family at this time. Dick was a wonderful teacher and coach and he was a lively part of my high school years. He briefly convinced me I could be a cross country runner but that only lasted until I started playing golf. My parents always considered you both hard-working and devoted to the school sports programs. May your family be surrounded by the support and love of the extended community you built over the years at Wyoming Park High School. Arlene Hedgecock

Oh Dick and Jessica, I am heart broken that i didn't get a chance to wish Dick well and thank him for our conversations and his kindness. When my three sons came home from Iraq, Dick gave me a gift certificate to take my family out to dinner and express his thanks for my sons Service. I will always be grateful for this act of kindness and thoughtfulness. Thank you Dick and Jessica and am so sorry I didn't see him in the hospital. So much thanks and so little time and circumstances. God bless a good man. Rest in peace my friend. Roger DeVries Roger Devries and sons DeVries

Dear Locke family: I am so sorry for your loss I coached football and track at Godwin Heights and I remember the battles that we had against the Park. I golfed with Dick, Rich Pullen, and Terry Sommerdyke at Maple Hill during the winter. The four of us always had a great time. He still owes me $5 when I predicted ND would beat ASU in 2013. Mr. Locke, rest in peace Robert Gregorski

Locke family, my deepest condolences. Mr. Locke was a one of a kind. As a coach, he always pushed me to be the best I could be. Even after I graduated, he allowed me to come to pre-season track practices and "run the halls" prior to my USAF basic training. He knew the importance of commitment. He had a profound impact on my high school years, and my life. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers are with you all. Samantha Graves (Kinder)

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with all of the Locke Family during this difficult time! Although it has been a few years since I golfed with Dick, I had always enjoyed having him as a teammate in the Eagle Open when he came to Muskegon. The friendly bantering between the EMC teams is a memory I will hold in my heart for many years. He was a great teammate and a wonderful man to spend time with. My condolences Chuck Holter
