Richard Allen Bos, Jr.

Rick Bos, age 61, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 20, 2023. We’ve no doubt the angels are thrilled to have him in their midst. Rick will be remembered for his humor and his kindness. He had a talent for lighting up every room he was in. He embraced life and made friends everywhere he went and touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He loved his peeps, which started with his family but extended so much farther, fishing, and golfing. His favorite place was on the river, and he loved nothing more than spending time with those he cherished and loved there or on the golf course. He will be greatly missed for his big heart, fun spirit and love for friends and family. He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Bos. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: Connie Bos (mother); Lori Bos (wife); Chandler (Brittany Portwood) Bos (son); Antonia (Mike) Piechocki (daughter); Cheri (Cesar Reyes) VanTongeren (sister); Candy (Paul) Sorensen (sister); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 26th at MKD Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418. There will also be visitation time Friday morning, October 27, from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at Fair Haven Church. The funeral will be held at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg VanderMeer officiating. A lunch will be held immediately following the service afterwards. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to WCSG.
