Boorsma, Richard Allen Richard Allen Boorsma, age 62, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2012 and went to be with the Lord. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sister, Darwin Boorsma, Dolores and Ronald Sanford, Kenneth Boorsma; sister-in-law, Margaret Boorsma; several nieces and nephews; his many caregivers and friends at Porter St. AFC House. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille Boorsma; brother, Donald. Richard retired from Industrial Finishing in Comstock Park after 30+ years of dedicated service. A memorial service will be held on Monday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Thresholds.
