Rhonda Noonan

Our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Rhonda “Suni” Noonan, age 37, of Grand Rapids, left us and this world too soon on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Rhonda was a hard working, single mom of three. She was spontaneous, wild at heart, stubborn, loud, funny, had a contagious laugh, and never gave up. She was loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Noreen Hillis, Mary Frizzell; great-grandmothers, Violet Colegrove, Mamie Frizzell; uncle, Dennis “Denny” Hillis; great-aunt and “grandmother”, Dorothy Mattson; and many extended family members who preceded her. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Raina “Buzz” Yeakey, Evan Yeakey, Cora Noonan; her parents, Ron and Carol Hillis; siblings, Cori and Brian Dailey, Ken and Tara Follett, Matt Hillis; grandfather, William “Bill” Frizzell; her children’s grandmother, Sharon Badour; many loving aunts and uncles, special nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, January 9, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Make-A-Wish Michigan.
