Rhonda Corson

On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the Lord took Rhonda Lyn Corson, age 43, in death.

Rhonda was born on June 12, 1982. She attended Adams Christian School and Covenant Christian High School. She worked as a title clerk, controller, and office manager at several car dealerships throughout her life. She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed greatly. She will be remembered for her kindness and the joy she often brought to others. Our hearts grieve, but we rest in God’s promises and decrees of love, mercy, and everlasting peace.

Rhonda is survived by her parents, Ron and Linda Corson; siblings, Melissa and Jon Lubbers, Chad and Michele Corson, and Anna and John Heyboer. Rhonda held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews who were so precious to her: Travis, Braden, Connor, and Mekenzie Lubbers, Deeana and Seth Van Tuinen, Payton, Alden, Colin, and Nolan Corson, Lily, Zack, and Courtney Heyboer. Her grandmother, Florence Corson, also survives her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jacob and Cornelia Kuiper, and William Corson.

A private family funeral will be held on January 5, 2026. She will be laid to rest at Riverbend Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to an addiction and recovery center or mental health organization of your choice.

Rhonda was an incredibly bright and warm person. Always willing to jump in and help whomever. She had her challenges in life but worked hard to be the best she could be. I will always remember working with her and her ability to smile and face everyday head on. Sandy Reece

Prayers for the Corson family. No matter what the world tossed her way she managed to smile always. The thing I remember most is how much she loved and talked about her family- especially her nieces and nephews whom she adored. Rest easy Rhonda, and God speed.

Few people have the ability to leave a true and positive mark on your heart, and Rhonda was one of those people. Her smile and her laugh were both highly contagious and she was a quality human to her core. News of her passing is so so sad, and I want to send all of my love to the Corson family. The World is a less hospitable place without Rhonda in it, and she will not be forgotten.

Rhonda was a treasure to know and she was easy to love. I have wonderful memories with her in high school. The news comes as a shock and I'm mouring her passing like many others. She was beautiful inside and out. My deepest and most sincere condolences to the family of this sweet soul.
