Rev. Robert Armour McBroom

Rev. Robert Armour McBroom, age 88, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He faithfully served as a pastor in many area churches throughout his career. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He graduated from Northern Baptist Seminary in Chicago. Bob loved reading and buying books. He enjoyed Chicago Cubs and hotdogs.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Nadine; son-in-law, Jerry Wilterink and parents, William and Lenore McBroom.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Lynn Bardolph McBroom; children: Kimberly Jeanne (Paul) Brouwers, Wendy Jo Wilterink, Michael (Abigail) Boersma, Lindsay Boersma; grandchildren: Joel (Julie) Stickney, Jennifer (Jason) Edgar, Justin (Andrea) Stickney, Frank (Regina) Bednarsky, Holly Bednarsky, Eve Boersma, Lila Boersma; 11 great grandchildren; 3 nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Ada Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice for their loving care for Bob.
