HOFMAN, Rev. John M, age 90 of Grand Rapids, MI, went to be with his Lord on December 20, 2014. Beloved husband of Bertha for 64 years; father of Marv & Mary, Ruth & Steve Venhuizen, Greg & Judy, Tom & Wendy; grandchildren, Timothy (Kristen) Hofman, Peter Hofman, Bethany (Ryan) Wolter, Jonathan (Julie) Hofman, Sarah Hofman, Benjamin (Mia) Hofman, Jessica Hofman (Casey Moore), Joel (Kristin) Hofman, Daniel Hofman and Steven Hofman; great grandchildren, Aiden, Natalie, Dominic, Sophia, William, Lucas and Julian; brother of Dolly & Jim Strikwerda, JoAnne Hofman; brother-in-law of Cobi Hofman, Johanna Konynenbelt, Alice Kooy, Henry Postman, Shirley Kooy and Gert Kooy; cousin, uncle, colleague & friend. He was preceded in death by brother Tymen. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Ideal Park Christian Reformed Church, 320 56th Street SW, Grand Rapids. His family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S.
