Renee Lorenz

LORENZ- Renée Frances Lorenz met Jesus on November 3, 2017 and was reunited with her parents, Eldon and Roberta Lorenz in Heaven. Renée will be dearly missed by her sisters, Shelley (Bob) Proos, Cindy (Jeffrey) Kelly, Melinda (Joe) Rogers; her brother Jack (Jeanne) Lorenz, and her dearest friend Sandy (Blake) Glupker as well as many friends and family. Renée was more than an aunt to 9 nieces and nephews, and her beloved grandnephew Jack Brooks. One of Renée’s greatest loves was teaching, and she retired from GRPS after more than 30 years of teaching. Renée was a member of Calvary Church in Grand Rapids. She loved the Lord and through His love and comfort, faced her illness with grace, courage, and dignity; Renée was a true believer. A celebration service will be held 11AM, Thursday, November 9 at Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline Ave. Her family will greet relatives and friends from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM, Wednesday, November 8 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Hospice and Visiting Angels.
