Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Keena age 53, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family, on July 24, 2026.

Born on April 2, 1973, to Tim and Merva Keena, Becky was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend whose life was filled with love, laughter and resilience. She had a caring heart, a stubborn determination, a sassy spirit, and a wonderful sense of humor. Becky had a gift for making others smile with her quick wit and playful personality. Her love for her family was unwavering, and the joy she brought to those around her will never be forgotten.

Becky found happiness in the simple things that brought people together. She loved watching television shows from the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s, listening to music, working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles, expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, cooking, participation in Bible study, bowling, and fishing. One of the highlights of each year was attending Indian Trails Camp, where she made treasured memories and lasting friendships. Becky also enjoyed the many activities, outings and special events offered through David’s House Ministries. A true social butterfly, she loved spending time with her many friends. Her infectious smile, laughter and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Becky is lovingly remembered by her parents Tim and Merva Keena, siblings, Cindy (Mike) Woodworth and Robin (Steve) Phenicie; her nieces and nephews, Lauren, Joshua and Ethan Woodworth, and Aubrey, Aiden and Liam Phenicie. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Jo Keena and Charles and Mary Sell, her uncles, Terry Liles and Randy Keena; and her aunt, Mary Lou Thomas.

While we will miss Becky beyond words, we will forever treasure the love, laughter, and joy she brought into our lives. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509 with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the Mass. The family invites those who wish to attend to join them for a luncheon  immediately following the service. 

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents of David’s House Ministries for the exceptional love, compassion, friendship, and care they shared with Becky throughout the years. Their kindness enriched her life and brought comfort to her family, and will always be remembered with deep gratitude.
