Raymond Vodry

VODRY- Mr. Raymond D. Vodry, aged 80 of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice. Surviving are his children, Paula (Jeffrey) DeYoung, Cheryl (Scott) Nelson, Thomas (Cheryl) Vodry; granddaughter, Michelle Nelson; brother, Kenneth (Lucy) Vodry; sister, Mavis (Ron) Tyron; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Vodry, Patricia Vodry, Agnes Escott and Fran Neuman; several nieces and nephews. Ray proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp and later retired from Ace Hardware after over 20 years. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday August 25, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 - 50th St. SW with Rev. John Diener officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Grace Lutheran Church.
