Raymond Alvin Vaillancourt Jr., age 79 of Wyoming, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Ray served in the National Guard Army Reserves and was a retiree of Keeler Brass. He was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Vaillancourt III and a grandson, Michael Evans. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Pam; children, Dale Vaillancourt, Valerie Evans, Chuck and Deb Vaillancourt; 10 grandchildren, including Scott and Valerie Workman, Christopher and Shaina Vaillancourt and Lawrence “L.J.” Evans, who took such excellent care of their grandpa, during his last days; 7 great- grandchildren; sisters, Winnie Krul, Liz Szczepanek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ray will be held 11am Monday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Chaplain Sue Petro officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will meet relatives and friends Sunday 6-9pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
