Ray Franco

Ray William Franco, age 67, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly and was called to his heavenly home on Monday, January 13, 2025. Ray was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandpa who dearly loved his family and could light up a room with his smile. He would make everyone feel welcome as if they all were family. Ray was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, ice fishing, and hunting. As a sports enthusiast, he rooted on his Detroit Lions, Michigan State Spartans, and NASCAR. Ray was also an excellent cook, making many delicious meals for his family and friends. Many hours were spent tending the grill and smoking different meats. Above all, he would do anything for anyone. His selfless generosity was evident to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sondra Franco; and sister, Shelly Franco. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 32 years, Verna Franco; children, Cindy and Michael Kilgore, Terry and Heather Wilson, Dorothy and Michael Hoogerwerff; grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Blake, Kameron, Hailey, Carter, Wesley, Liahm, and Asher; sister, Kimmy; aunt, Connie; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
