Raul Antonio Monsivaes III

Raul Antonio Monsivaes, age 32, of Three Rivers, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Rudy was a talented musician and member of the band, “Under the Vine.” He was a welder for many years working in the RV industry. He was also a good listener and caring man, mentoring and answering phone calls with people in crisis. He was thrilled to be baptized into the family of Jesus Christ at Riverside Church on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Aidan James, Aria Marie, Jack Anthony; parents: Raul Jr. and Holly Monsivaes; siblings: Christian and Joanna Monsivaes, Niko (Michaela) Monsivaes, Amada (fiancé, Tyler Frisbie) Monsivaes; grandparents, Raul Monsivaes Sr., Amada Gonzalez, William Jimmerson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dana Johnson (Schlaack). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows, 101 Hall St. SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Ted Kozlowski, celebrant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 3-6 p.m. at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 Division Ave, Wyoming. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at Riverside Church in Three Rivers from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 24.
