Ramona Rodriguez Segarra

Ramona Rodriguez Segarra, age 76, of Wyoming, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Ramona was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She had a generous heart, she enjoyed serving her family and guests and always made sure they were well-fed. She will be remembered for her talented cooking. She loved her music and dancing. Ramona had a good sense of humor, she will be missed for her jokes, smiles and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito Rodriguez Cabon and Maria Rodriguez Segarra. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Hernan Colon-Dones; children: Sonia, Ramonita, Jaqueline, Raymond and Armando; 12 grandchildren: Bobbie, Christopher, Natalie, Ruben, Rachel, Jerel, Trisha, Kysha, Raven, Lil Ray, Dante and Mia; 10 great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Baby Ruben, Sariah, Roman, Baelynn, Soule, Dylan, Adriana, Romeo, Desmond, Carter, Mason, Anaya, Montez, Yanny and Kylon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, February 16 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Father Stephen Dudek officiating. Ramona will be laid to rest in Puerto Rico. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 3:30-4:30 prior to the service.
