Ralph Brundige

Ralph E. Brundige, 90, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2019 and will be with his beloved wife, Madonna, of 62 years. Ralph was an engineering technician for Dover Corporation, Blackmer Pump Division for 24 years, and Lear Siegler for 13 years. He was also a certified watch maker. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving the US Air Force, 729th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron as a radar operator, based at Clovis Air Force Base, Clovis, New Mexico. He loved working on cars and maintaining his yard and home and always enjoyed a cold beer. He was a long-time member of Holy Trinity Church in Comstock Park. He is survived by his brothers, Lincoln and Richard Brundige; children, Susan (Glenn) Holecheck, Barbara Brundige, Mary (Bruce) Brandimore, and Daniel Brundige (fiancé Julie Tolhurst); grandchildren, Sara (David), Lisa (Marco), Jim (Ruth), Donna (Royce), Robert, Adam (Amber), Joseph and Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Avariel, Asiana, Marcelo, Elliot, Alecia, Darrell and Adalyn; nieces and nephews, and his beloved furry companion, Westie. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Marie Brundige; his sister, Ruthann; and granddaughter, Anita. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday March 14, 2019 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
