Quentin Russo

RUSSO - Mr. Quentin Russo, aged 77 of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, MaryJane (Holt) Russo; parents, Sam and Josephine "Sella" Russo; sister, Mamie Artlip; brothers, Frank and Sam Russo; sisters-in-law, Wanda Ritenberg, Patricia Russo. Surviving are his children, Salvatore Russo, Frank (Christi) Russo, Quentin (Sandra Tompkins) Russo, Wanda (Sam) Lampe, Virginia (Arthur McMullen) Stewart; grandchildren, Quentin, Kaleigh, Sammy, Cassie, Isaac, Kira, Paige, Connor, Zachary and Joey; brothers, Paul Russo, John Russo; sisters, Mary (Luey) Meade, Josephine Russo; many nieces and nephews; dear friends, Fred and Cathy Palazzolo. He retired from Bosch and affiliated GM suppliers after 40 years of service. He was hard working and will be remembered as a good provider for his family. He was a dedicated father, brother and friend with a strong love of family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, October 4 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE, with Rev. Theodore Kozlowski as celebrant. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, with prayers of the Rosary to be recited at 7:30 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to Mass at Church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods.
