Phyllis Renner

Born March 26, 1932 to Ronald Earl and Pearl Lucille Kirk in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Phyllis Marie (Kirk) Caruthers Renner passed away February 24, 2023 at the age of 90. She was married twice and outlived both husbands, James Caruthers and Clarence Renner. Phyllis was always very involved with the church, both growing up and as an adult. She loved to listen to gospel music, sing, and play the piano. She loved her cats and missed them very much when she had to move into assisted living. Phyllis is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sandy Kirk; sister and brother-in-law, Nina (Kathy) and Gene Brownfield; grandchildren, Jennifer Apol, James and Kathy Raths, and Aimie Powell; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James; second husband, Clarence; son, James Caruther, Jr.; and daughter, Shirley Raths.
