Phyllis M. Ricketson

Phyllis M. Ricketson, 83, born April 7, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2025. She was an energetic, outgoing, and friendly soul, her light will be missed.  An avid gardner who enjoyed antiquing, chatting with people wherever she went, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Phyllis is preceded  by her parents Ethel and Elmo VanderJagt, her brother Douglas VanderJagt, and her former husband Glenn Ricketson.  She is survived by her sister Beverly Burgess, her four children, David (Michele) Ricketson, Kimberly Ricketson, Kerri (Paul) Harris, and Kristi (Ruben) Gomez, along with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, in Phyllis’ name.
