Phyllis Joan Alber

​Phyllis Joan (Rienks) Alber, age 84, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Rienks; mother, Margaret Rienks; brothers, Benjamin (Dorothy) Rienks, Joe (Toshie) Rienks, Lyman Rienks, and Ronald Rienks. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Valerie Rienks; granddaughters, April Rienks, Suzi Harvey; great grandchildren, Sara, Kyley, Aalyiah, Trystan, Mikayla, and Brooklynn; sister, Marilyn (Roger) Line; sisters-in-law, Betty and Mary; many nieces, nephews and cousins. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial at Grandville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
