Phyllis Ann Vermaire

Phyllis Ann Vermaire, age 81, of Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vermaire and her sister, Joanne Norman. She was a longtime member of Calvary Church where she sang in the choir and faithfully served with her time and talents in many ways. She worked for several years at Russ’ Restaurants as a hostess, establishing many friendships throughout her time there. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Mark Vermaire, MaryJo Ryman-Vermaire, Karen Vermaire; her grandson,  Kyle Vermaire; brother, Roger Zeeff. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, at 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Mike Looney officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries.
