Phillip R. Bennett

Phillip R. Bennett, age 68, of Kentwood, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Roswell Bennett. He was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving his country in the US Army. Phillip was an engineer at Advanced Laser for many years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Darla Bennett, Nathan Bennett; his grandchildren, Jesse, Christian, and Grace Fugate; his mother, Lucille Gardner; his brother, Rick and Deb Bennett, sister, Sheila Christiansen; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special long time friend, Donald Carpenter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave. Hudsonville, with Pastor Lee Buer officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 10-11 a.m.at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time. I have personally found comfort in the promise found at Revelation 21:3, 4, where it states that soon all suffering, pain and death will be no more. Then we will have the prospect of a future resurrection found at John 5:28, 29. I truly hope this bring you comfort and peace. My deepest sympathy to you all.
