Philip Impens

Philip James Impens, age 87, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Veronica Impens; sister, Margaret Mary Scott; and brother, Thomas Impens. He will be lovingly remembered by his “sister” Chris and Rick Verburg; nieces, Sheryl Anderson, Margo Forrester, Sandra and Bob Tuinstra; and was very close to the Verburg children, Veronica and Kevin Perdue, Margaret and Ray Harman, Therese and Eric Loudermilk, Andrew Verburg; and many other great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson SW, Grandville, with Fr. Stephen Durkee presiding. The burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 7, from 6-8 p.m. with the Rosary being prayed at 8 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St Pius X Catholic Church.
