Cooper - Philip D. "Phil" Cooper age 72 of Kentwood passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Dwight Cooper; sister, Penny (Ivan) Small. Phil is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lauri Cooper; children, Mike (Emily) Cooper, M Alison Cooper (Joe Sikora); grandchildren; Addison Cooper, Sam Cooper, Austin Cooper, Rex Cooper; brother, William (Marylin) Cooper; sister, Kathy (Joel) Worst; several nieces and nephews. Phil was a Veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from Benteler Automotive after 30 years of service. Phil loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed many years or riding motorcycles and working on cars, his latest was his 51 Chevy. A time of gathering will be held from 5PM to 7PM Monday, July 27, 2020 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming 3131 S.
