Peter Willems

Willems, Peter Peter Willems, age 95, of Jenison, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Pearl; daughters, Terry (Mark) Olthouse, Carla (Clifford) Corrette, Cheryl (Jim) Snoap; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Harriet DeBoer, Theresa (Clarence) Bishop; brother, Abe Willems; sister-in-law, Juliana Steensma; brother-in-law, Allen Flietstra; and nieces and nephews. Peter was a veteran of World War II and served from 1944 – 1946 in the US Army. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20 at 1:00 pm at Bethel United Reformed Church, 2025 Baldwin Street, Jenison, with Rev. Steve Postma and Deacon Jeffrey Hubbard officiating. Interment Garfield Park Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bethel United Reformed Church.
