Nancy,Don,Bob & Betsy, your DAD was a part of the Barkwell family for almost as far back as I can remember! Now I’m 83 so that’s a long time! I loved both your MOM and DAD and they were a big part of my growing up years. I know your folks were very proud of you and your families! May God bless you all during this time!

Nancy & family,
Just heard of Pete’s passing. He was such a lovely man. I enjoyed all my conversations with him at Gracewil Country Club & fondly remember the days of “Pete & Harry” & serving them hot dogs. He was always smiling & brought joy to my day. A life well lived! Sorry I will not be able to make the memorial.
With sympathy, Nancy Bradley

Peter was a man who lived boldly what he believed and positively influenced those he came in contact with because of his life witness to the power of Jesus Christ. I was inspired by him and cherished his wise words. I loved the twinkle in his eyes and his laugh. May God comfort you in your loss as you recognize the incredible blessings that are yours because of this amazing man.

Grandpa T was the only 'grandparent' I have had whom I didn't feel it necessary to alter myself around. He was a true Christian who entrusted his life to a loving God that loves all for both their likeness and individuality. I am eternally grateful for him welcoming me into his family as though I were his own great-grandchild. I am a better person for having had the opportunity to love him, and to spend some wonderful days with just him and I throughout this last year. Love you always, Gramps!
