Peter Joseph Minerva

Peter Joseph Minerva, 74, of Kentwood, MI, born to eternal life on March 4, 2026. Loving husband of Antonina (née. Baio), for 43 happy years. Cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary Minerva. Beloved father to Maria, Rosa (Ray) Watts and Lisa. Loving Nonno to Nathan and Owen Watts. Loving brother to Elaine (George) Meyer, Anne (Frank) Selvaggio and Albert (Lydia) Minerva. Loving brother-in-law to Stella (Rocco) DelCiotto, Carmela Baio, Angelina (Remo) Sansosti, Salvatore (Linda) Baio, Maria (Vincent) Tarara and Assunta (Emilio) Manueli. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peter will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched. Please join the family of Peter in a celebration of his life. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 9 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1253 52nd St. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Peter Vu officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with a vigil held at 7 p.m.  Visitation will also be held Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://stjude.org.
