Peter Eversdyk, age 82, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Pete was preceded in death by his sister, Barb Petz. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; his children, Deborah (Michael) Crum, Becky (Nathan) Vandenbroek; grandchildren, Crystal Crum, Carol (Robert) Crum-Franey, Lola Vandenbroek, sister; Alice Clare (Dr. Steven) Riser, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Pete was a warm, caring, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard-working and active man who was a developer, builder, started Superior Engine Rebuilders, and was very active in the City of Wyoming Planning Board and City Council. Pete enjoyed drag racing, his corvettes, and flying his twin engine plane. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at 12:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
