Peter Burke

Peter Burke, aged 78 of Wyoming, formerly of Beaverdale, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Burke; parents; 2 sisters; 8 brothers. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Mary; children, Tamara (Joe) Knight, Peter Burke Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Burke, Michael Burke, Leo Burke; sister-in-law, Joyce Burke; special nephews, Gary, Rick (Mary), Randy, and Steve (Marcia) Call; many other nieces, nephews and special friend, Mary Call. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Faith Hospice, especially Jill and Kathleen, for their loving care of Peter. "I will not fear death as it is not the end, but rather a new beginning. God said it and I believe it."
